Non-residents can buy real estate in Montenegro as physical or legal entity. When buying and
registering real estate, foreigners have the same rights as well as citizens of Montenegro, except for
natural resources, public buildings, agricultural land, forests, cultural monuments. Foreigners may
acquire the right of ownership on agricultural land and forests up to 5000m2 only in case they are at the
given location house. Foreigners are entitled for long-term annuities.
